Where to Place Peek-a- Boo Highlights in the Your Hair?

Hello hair Fashionistas! Im a platinum blonde looking to add a few teal colored peek-a-boo highlights in my hair myself. I bought the dye and supplys and now Im ready to rock!

Its just Im not exactly sure where to perfectly place these highlights?

Does anybody have any recommendations? Or are there any placement diagrams or tutorials on the web that are your favorite? Any and all advice is welcome! Thanks
